The Government Agency’s goal is to reduce travel and the impact on the environment without reducing the ability of employees to meet and hold effective meetings. The Agency has decided to modernize the existing communication and collaboration platform and ask for support now faced with the thought launch in 2013.
UClaritys assignment was to develop a launch plan for activities that could be used before, during and after the implementation of new communication and collaboration platform. Summary of the primary activities:
- Project management
- User survey and needs analysis
- IT user categorization (right tools for the right users)
- Development of benefit analysis (savings, reduced environmental impact)
- Development of a communication plan (before, during, after)
- Development of a communication plan (who, when, how, what)
- Creation of graphic identity for launch
- Development of a training plan (who, how, when)
- Review and change of policy documents, job descriptions, etc.
- Project Handover to the HR department
